MCMS

This is your life, are you who you want to be. ~ Switchfoot  . . . . . .  In the end, we will only conserve what we love. We will only love what we understand. We will only understand what we are taught.  ~ Dioum, African Naturalist... A day without sunshine is like night....  In just two days tomorrow will be yesterday.

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

Welcome!  I'm new to JFMS, but not to Catawba County Schools and definitely not new to the awesome teachers at JFMS.  I'm very excited to be joining the team here and look forward to teaching your children.  JFMS's science program is inquiry-oriented which is the newest way to say - the student has his or her hands on everything!!  Please use this website to stay in touch with us.

JFMS Envirothon is going strong for 2009/10.  Look for information about the Envirothon team for the upcoming school year.

Recycling is Going School Wide!
Keep Collecting Those Cans!

Recycle your cans at lunch!  Place all aluminum cans in the recycling container near the lunch room door!

2009 Can Recycling Total $70.00 !!  Last year, MCMS Students raised over $200 for the Science Dept. by recycling aluminum cans.  Keep those cans coming.  The Earth loves you and you will earn extra credit in your science class!

Look for collection spots in classrooms and the cafeteria.

Congratulations MCMS!
