Dear Parents and Guardians,I'm so excited to be your student's science teacher. 7th Grade science is very interesting, relevant to every day life and a ton of fun. My goals are to provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom atmosphere where every student is challenged. If you have any questions about class, your student's progress or if you'd like to volunteer for class or team activities, please contact me. I look forward to getting know your student and working with you and your student.Sincerely,Stacy LovdahlCommunication is EssentialCommunication is very important and takes time in our busy, stressful lives. Here are some of the tools we have to communicate.
Website: I update the website on the weekends and sometimes during the week. The website is good for checking on homework and projects, finding a list of the grades for the quarter and for finding out what papers should be studied in the student's science notebook. The website also has resources for studying. Our new science books are completely online at www.hrw.com. RTT - Advisory Time
Study Skills Most middle schoolers need to develop solid study skills. Good study habits that will pay off as subjects become more challenging in 7th and 8th grade and in high school. The student agenda has some excellent tips for studying. In addition, there are many websites with study skill information.
